Sunday Ride

OK I am in for a Sunday ride as well ( not that I had to check with my wife or anything )
So is the above meeting place and time correct ? And what is the address, not sure how many stations are there. And what is the last gas stop, Santa Rosa ?
Look forward to it !
Steve

Steve,

The Bennett Valley Fire Station is at 6161 Bennett Valley Road (the intersection of Bennett Valley and Sonoma Mountain Roads). That would be the meeting place at 9AM, then over through Glen Ellen, Oakville, Angwin, then Lake Berryessa at 10ish, then on to Knoxville and Reiff Rd. The only gas on this route would be at Angwin, so arrive with a full tank if you can. Also, bring plenty of water, and food.

If anyone else is thinking of joining you can pm me with your name, cell # and where you'd join the ride, and I'll try to coordinate as best as I can.

Brian

Hi Brian -
Thanks for the info and I will get there with a full tank of gas and supplies. Sounds like it will be a good day .

Hard to say. So far we are 3 people who have never ridden together. If we ride to Cache Creek Regional Park I would expect to be back to Santa Rosa by around 4pm. Looks like it's going to be a scorcher, so longer stops may be in order, or maybe we'll shorten the ride if everyone's getting baked.

Howdy Brian, will try to make it Sunday and do part of the ride...still have supermoto wheels and street tires on my DR650 so will probably not attempt much dirt riding...not sure if I can make it so please don't wait if I'm not at the fire station at 9.

Looks like good weather for the day, high around 90 for Middletown and Lower Lake. Don't know if anyone is joining us at Lake Berryessa, but i would expect to be over that way closer to 10:30.

Knoxville Ride

Big thanks to everyone on the Knoxville ride as it was a lot of fun. Wish I didn't have to cut the ride short but that is just an excuse to go up there again pretty soon.
Hope everybody made it home safe !

That was a fun ride. Met some cool people and was introduced to some new roads. Even found out I can pick my bike up faster than some of you can grab a camera.
