Stuck on the side of the road in Addis LA - Page 4

So, a few days later and the bike is still running!

I've been up to the Hill Country and rode the Three Sisters, and then headed for Big Bend National park. A bit of a leap of faith as it's a bit desolate down there.

A few hundred (okay, more like 1500) miles later, a lot of it off-road in the park, in middle of absolutely nowhere, and no failures, or usual noises. I'm pretty happy with the roadside fix. Here's hoping nothing else breaks!

And of course, it's time for another oil change, and maybe another tire.

The ride through the Chiricahuas was awesome! Waking up to frozen water bottles, not so much.

I ended up camping at 5500' two nights ago, in the Coronado Nat'l Forest, just south of the Chiricahua Monument, and it was, ummm, uncomfortable.

Last night, in the Molinos Basin on Mt. Lemmon, was a bit better but not by much. High 30s, instead of high 20s, is better, but it's a bit relative, right?

Yep. I figgered it was winter when I had to chip ice off of my seat.
