Of course there is the asking price and the selling price. We most likely will never know the latter.

The person that I know that restores bikes restored a 1977 'RS with the 40mm pipes and sold it for $13K plus the guy gave him an R75/5. That was a few years ago.

Now, $12K is too much for that RS, even as nice and original as it is.
