2013 Hells Canyon/Wallowa Valley Gathering
7th Annual 2013 Hells Canyon/Wallowa Valley Gathering June 20-23, 2013 Note: This year the date doesn't conflict with Father's Day. ![]() Log House RV Park and Campground 66258 Lewiston Hwy (Hwy 3) Enterprise, Oregon 97828 1-877-426-4027 http://loghouservpark.com/ What's Happening: I will have a white board in the group area that you can check to see what is happening. Times for food, rides, etc. Rides: There will be rides for the newer folks led by 1911 Fan on Friday and Saturday. I don't know what time the rides will leave camp but I'll find out and put it on the white board. Volunteer(s): I didn't get any volunteers to take a group out on a tweener ride. Would anyone like to do this so some of the people who haven't been here before have someone to follow? If you don't want to lead a big group just designate the maximum number you want the group to be. Name Tags: This year I'll have name tags available so you can let people know who you are. Your user name and real name would be good. If you just want to use one or the other that's good too. If you don't want to wear a name tag that's fine too, we'll just call you "hey you". Tables and camp chairs: I'm bringing a couple extra tables and a some extra camp chairs but if you are trucking and can easily bring more that would be good. Last year we were pushing the capacity of the available tables and chairs and this year it looks like we have a lot more people coming. Coffee: I'll try to have coffee ready for everyone in the morning. I didn't pick up any disposable cups so please bring your own coffee cups. Most people already carry their cups with them so this shouldn't be too hard to remember. SPOT Trackers: If you carry a SPOT and want someone at the gathering to have your link in case you don't return to camp please PM it to me. Put SPOT in the subject line. Meals: Fri. Fajita night. Apple Jam will create his famous fajitas. Donation. Sat. Dinner 6:00 PM: Once again Lear's will be catering dinner. If you attended last year you already know how yummy it is. The cost is $10.00 and you can pay Brian and Margaret when you register for camping. If you won't be camping there and just want to join us for dinner you can do that too just pay for dinner before Friday. They will give you a meal ticket to make tracking who has already paid for dinner easier. The goal is to have a solid number for dinner by Friday so Lear's knows how many dinners to make so please pay before then. Dinner will be: Generous beef-brisket sandwich (when they say generous they mean generous) Cowboy beans Cole-slaw Double-chocolate raspberry brownies Bring your own drinks. ![]() Breakfast Saturday and Sunday Margaret has volunteered to fix breakfast sandwiches again. The sandwiches are big biscuits filled with sausage patty, egg, & topped with cheese. Fruit to go along with. Oh yeah, there were some ooey gooey cinnamon rolls too. Please donate $5.00 for each breakfast. Group tent camping: No reservations needed, just state your IN, show up, and pay at the office when you get there. $12.00 per night. RV camping: Please call the Log House and make a reservation and for rates. The Log House also has the B&B room available, see their website. There is only one room so if you want it make your reservation early. There will be three Luxury tents this year. Two of tents have a king sized beds and Futons. The third tent will have bunk beds. Call the Log House or see their website for more details.
