Hi Guys.

I am following this with keen interest.

I live in Dee Why, ride a DR650 and looking for people to explore the country side with.

Just returned from an awesome trip in the VIC High Country and am itching for more riding on dirt. Any open spaces?

Weather forecast for Saturday looks good.

Cheers

Hope to see you guys make it on Saturday. Would be good to meet up with some blokes who like to ride dirt roads, as most of my mates ride sports bikes.

Mate sounds good . Final details not yet made ,but my idea is to meet at Loftus oval on the Princess HWY at 7.30am for a 7.45 departure. From Loftus to Mittagong ( 1.5 hour Princess HW,.Appin RD ,Wilton RD &Hume HWY) Fuel stop at Mittagong. Then on to the caves about a 1 hour ride . Should be at the caves by 11.30 Then rest up for return.
What do you guys think.

Regards

Mike

Possible map

Yeah I'm up for the run on Saturday.
Including the suggested route out of Wombeyan Caves instead of back tracking.
It would be a decent day and depending on how the group is feeling we could either do or not do the Barnaby Road trail and just run the tar but I'd prefer the dirt.

Cool, we can do as much of it as we want to on the way out of the Caves, it is all about dirt but it does also get tiring riding it most of the day and as there are mostly newbie's out for the day (myself fairly new too) there looks like the possibility of a water cross on Barnaby Road trail.

So lets see how we feel when we get down into the Caves and go from there.
What I would suggest is not only bringing water but a lunch too cause there ain't gonna be anywheres to eat down there and there will be a bit of energy used.

Cheers
