South West WA - 24/25 November 2012
Just a quick weekend run with the family down to Margaret River, WA. Managed to turn it into a 700km spin with my brother in law, John and his mint BMW super tourer and a quick fang about on Sunday morning, too.
GS Adv TREK with light gear and good to go

John's mint tourer loaded up and tunes playing
 yours truly  cruisy run avoiding the weekend traffic    few stops for pix    free coffee and cake at the Italian POW memorial in Harvey - thanks girls!   down to Liz and Mick's beautiful bush block in Prevelly near Margaret River    Mick's R65 is a little ripper and really suits him, too  Augusta for breakfast   beautiful view over brekky  quick fang up Caves Road and a few pix   cruise home, quick wash and brush up  and lament the passing of my rear tyre!  great ride and great company - and thanks to my great girl who lets a family trip become a ride with the boys, too.

Looks like you had a good time, and yes the southwest is a great spot.
 did you guys come back thru Bridgetown on Maranup Ford road? i saw a few large bikes riding thru. Ed |
