How do I remove the 950SE front brake pads

Howdy gang,
I'm pretty sure I did this before but this time, I can't get the lower brake pad retaining pin out. Unlike the ADV, the SE has a single spring clip and is not shown in the KTM repair manual. I've pulled the single spring clip out of the retaining pin (rod?). The pin wiggles a bit back and forth, and turns but won't come out. I'm pushing the pin towards the spokes.

What am I doing wrong?

Do I just need a bigger hammer?

Bigger hammer

The pin has a spring clip around it that holds it place besides the pin thats thru it. You just need to tap a little harder

Thanks. The bigger hammer theory worked.

A little high temp silicone grease on the pin when reinstalling helps
the pads slide. I also brush a light coating on the piston where it contacts the back of the pads.
