Thumb oh well

yes, it is my shooting (right) Shoulder. The guy who has done previous 3 shoulder surgery's, is Dr. Diduch. Guess I just needed to even out the right shoulder with the left, 2-2. Going tomorrow morning to have it re x-rayed. Feels much better!! Ribs seemed to have healed some too.
thanks for support!!

Good luck at the doc. as far as I'm concerned, those guys at UVA are miracle workers!

Ouch!! I broke my collar bone years ago, and it probably should have had surgery. I elected not to do it, and I wish I hadn't. It never really healed right, and it gives me trouble still, even after 20 years.

But of course. How long before your surgery and what kind of recovery time? Oh yeah how long will you be off of work:-)

this morning

at 8:30. Supposed to quicker recovery time than trying to let heal on its own. Depending on what you read, 12-16 weeks. Have read here on ADV some guys out riding in 3-4 weeks, but assume these guys are a little younger than me.

I will take one for the team and volunteer to keep the oil circulating in the bike at least for the first month anyway.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder, hope you are back on the bike by fall.

Surgery yesterday

Went well, can now move without much pain at all. Surgeon told Sharon (my wife) total of 5 breaks. So good I had it fixed,as it would never have healed on its own, and would have had to have surgery anyway. On good drugs, so don't hold me responsible for what I am posting!
Ready to go on a witch hunt for the OR doc in Roanoke!
Guess I will have to make a list of volunteers who will sacrifice their time to ride my bike.
Thanks for all the support!!

I had no particular place to go...but the Super Tenere did. She feels like riding a rhinoceros and now I know why. She introduced me to family members.

Only 5 breaks....you couldn't do better than that ? Hope you have a fast recovery! Best of luck. Add me to the list of caretakers on that bike.
