tried to go to 317a and the road was closed.

Hello, I tried to go to 317A today and the road was closed. So I went to otter lake. Any idea when the road opens up again it was barricaded. so I made the best of it. Anyone up for any rides around here maybe the weekend after next?

I had one of each of these:
Wild Wolf Bitter, 3.7% ABV 30 IBU
This English Ale (a Special Bitter) presents with a wonderful white frothy head. Beautiful garnet/orange colors, bready-malt and citrus hoppy aroma, with a rich, smooth caramel-malty but also crisp finish. This is an extremely flavorful and refreshing session beer.

Virginia's Gentle Wolfman, 4.5% ABV 15 IBU
A unique blend of locally grown craft, grain, and ingenuity - this unique beer focuses on a malt bill composed of 100% Virginia grown whiskey malt. We found local maltsters who provided us with the perfect blend of smoked and unsmoked malted barley that when combined with our Virginia mountain water and yeast created a beer darn close to whiskey and water! Gentle Wolf has a light malt flavor and aroma with just a touch of smoke and oak

and to eat:
Black Angus Burger w/ BBQ Pork, Cheddar & Onion Straws

(this was absurdly good)

Shiny and happy

Wild Wolf Brewery: 2461 Rockfish Valley Hwy, Nellysford, VA 22958

A lot of people like Blue Mountain and Devil's Backbone, and they're great, but WW doesn't the attention it deserves.

I'm back at the house now ready for supper. I did about 100 mile loop up around Pedlar Creek reservoir and the parkway.
