Valley of the Gods ride...Navajo benefit ride.

Hi,..
I want to put together a ride to help the kids in the Navajo reservations where I like to ride,...I know a lot of you love the Mexican Hat, Valley of the Gods, Moab rides too.... I was sitting there reading about some of the needs of the kids,.. and I thought,...well,..we don't really need much of an excuse to go ride,..and if you have a ride to benefit kids,..then that just makes it even better!
I want to have a food drive and winter clothing drive for kids in need in some of the Navajo towns that we ride through (Utah, Az,CO,NV). They need jackets,hats,and non-perishable food items. We're running two "support" trucks from KBC Remodel Service,..mostly just to carry the donations since it's such a mellow ride,..(I don't think anyone ever broke a frame on the Valley of the Gods loop.)... The ride would be in the spring,..we would collect food and clothing donations in the trucks and deliver them. I could have waited until I had a "perfect" plan but I thought "screw it !...I'm just going to put it out there !".... I started a crappy web/blog site that I don't really know how to operate,..started collecting jackets from thrift stores,..and I'm off !... I figured I'd figure it out as I go and get help from other people on the way because we're burnin daylight !

PS,...none of the facebook twitter or other connections work ,..because I don't know how to connect them,.. I'm hoping to generate a dialogue and see what time works for the largest amount of people and what kinds of activities people would get into. I want to make it family thing as well.

Just be aware the BLM office/representative outta Bluff, Ut is very anti Offroad or anything motorized, including riding the Valley of the Gods road. Pm me if you want specifics.

Thanks for the info guys !,... I'm sorry , I didn't see them come through until a little while ago. I will check in with Utah auth. I've talked a little with RMAR and they had some really good advice as well.

Tim,...Tim,... I only know 2 Tim's in Boulder,... I need more of a hint !..
