Wee vs V-Strom

After 6500 miles covering a route from Chicago through the BAJA and crossing from La Paz to Mazatlan onto Veracruz I have not had 1 issue with a bike I bought through Ebay sight unseen, with 26,400 miles on it. (now 32,940 ; changed oil/filter and chain)) I have owned a very reliable DL1000 for a year and toured Eastern and Western Europe but the Wee I prefer for mild off road adventures and is MUCH better on gas consumption. The engine is also much sweeter at low RPM. The 1000 tended to surge. I can lug around town at 1200 rpm w/o any problem and have never had the need for the additional power. This is from a guy coming off a Hayabusa I own as well. We are headed for Argentina and have a long way to go but so far this 2007 bike has been bullet proof.
