I'll probably take my XR400, I want to ride up Rosegarden with Modette on the way back

Or at least be nearby to film him doing it.

This would be on Saturday our day in Moab:

It's pretty much get lost out there, end up looking at something like this that only Pablo83 is crazy enough to attempt:

This is White Wash which is a good ways out so a large tank is a must to ride out and back:

Of course getting out there we can go through part of Tenmile wash:

Ok, this may drive your registration way down...but I got the time off...so a tentative in. I say tentative only because one of my kids may bust a tooth out or something. What's the deadline for the check?

I'll open registration after the first of the year. Deadline will be in March sometime, or when the ride is full. We'll cap this ride at 24 riders. Also, I'll need a couple sag wagon volunteers, who will receive some compensation towards gas between Fruita and Moab.

I've been to Moab once, and have ridden up Onion Creek Rd quite a ways, as well as Sand Flats. I've got someone's GPS tracks for the Kokopelli, but am having a hard time seeing a bypass around Rose Hill, which even on Google Earth looks intimidating. Do you some GPS tracks for the routes you are considering?

I snagged this from a post Greg@RME posted awhile back
"My suggestion would be to either bail out on Hwy 128 before Entrada Ranch Road (by Dewey Bridge) and slab it to town, or if you want to ride the La Sal portion of the Koko, ride down the Highway to Onion Creek, up Hideout Road and continue on with the Koko from there, bypassing Rose Garden. "

That makes some sense... Onion Creek was a blast, and I would like to see the La Sal views.

Laurie and I are tentative. She'll drive a sag trailer if we are there.

Thanks Marty.

And for all --- this ride will open at the first of the year for real sign-ups.
