Dropped with a bent pillion peg - help me correct the angle

Unfortunately I dropped my bike, and may have in the process bent the left side pillion peg in the process. The subframe looks ok, and I was hoping a fellow ADV rider could take a similar photo of an 'unbent' peg so I can confirm my suspicion and bend it back to the correct place. The peg itself seems to fold up and hit the metal wire near the exhaust.

looks ok. if it's going to bend, it'll bend at the subframe.

put both rear pegs down and look at it from behind, see if they look symmetrical, also look straight down and see if one looks like it's off.

Thanks jengel, do you know if your peg folds up to create a similar angle? It does look a little asymmetrical, but it could be because I'm looking intensely at it

Just raced out in the cold for a look. The rubber touches the wire guard as per your photo

As others said above, if it bends it ill bend inward, and take the sub frame with it. It is a know issue on the 8GS. If the rear tire is still centered on the fender, your ok.

Mine looks the same, and I'm pretty sure all my crashes have been on the other side
