Bring your checkbook when you return to test ride

On the R1200R board owners are referred to as test ride victims, with good reason

I'm really diggin' this shield for the R1200R:

I have a Vstream on my LT and really like it. My problem- I own a R1150R. Anyone know if this will fit? Their website recommends a different shield all together.

I had an automotive windshield shop cut 4 off of mine and I like it a lot better. Less turbulence around my head. I'm thinking 5" would have been better.

I'm looking for an R1200R flyscreen if anyone has one on the shelf. Prefer tinted but not set on that.
Right now the bike has an OEM tall bracket with avery tall CEE Bailey I'd possibly be willing to do some swapping with.

How good are these fly screens for deflecting wind? Or do they do anything at all?

I've got the flyscreen from my 2011. Perfect condition, only used about 1000 miles.

Not sure what year yours is so not sure if fit is the same. PM me if interested. Will give you a great deal since it is just sitting in storage and I pick up my Trophy fairing tomorrow!!!

Mine is clear, not tinted.

It takes the wind off your chest and throws it right at about your chin. YMMV but, for me, it was the worst buffeting since I test rode a 990 Adventure. I had to keep pulling my helmet back down. I liked the bike better nekkid.

I liked my fly screen. I guess I like it well enough not to offer it up for sale now even though I could use the money. It caused no buffeting for me, but I'm short. I've got a larger Givi windsheild that I'll sell you. I just haven't used it in a while.
