2013 Broxton Bridge 2 day Dual Sport Jan 12-13th

C'mon over and have a great ride from the best trailhead in the Southeast! Load up your campsite with as many as you wish {without muffin-topping your neighbors!} for $25/$35 per night, Onsite bathhouse and food service. Feeling the need for more civility; book lodging at the Broxton Bridge B-n-B
{ www.broxtonbridge.com} or check hotels in the Walterboro SC I-95/ Hwy 64 intersection area

Expect trails ranging from tight technical to 4ft bush hog to dozer, probably best suited to street legal single cylinder bikes.

January 12th and 13th, hope to see y'all there! I'll be in the 1963 Grumman Bread Truck/RV conversion; stop by and say hi!

Sounds like fun. I know a lot of guys who have had fun at this event before. But whats the story on the enduro? I was told there was land use issues. If the land can be used for the DS event, why not a race, or was there just issues with some of the land? I had a lot of fun at the enduro last year and was looking forward to it again

Well, it is all family property, and there were issues within the family. One member basically doesnt wish us to ride his property. This cost us some mileage, and left with a choice of running a "lapped" enduro, we decided to run a 2 day DS instead. There are options in trail management that you can get away with in the DS ride that would never fly in an enduro. We have other properties, but the distance to them makes the DS only.

We are looking for other properties that will allow us to run the quality of enduro folks have come to expect from us, starting way back in the 70's with the Swamp Fox.

I don't have any affiliation with this video; just a free bump to keep this thread on the first page!

I rode this event (or the forerunner) back in the 90's. Rode the dual sport on Sat and the enduro on Sun (till I houred out). The Family Riders put on fun, well run events.

The most fun I have had in years. Perfect weather - perfect mix of technical and flowing - magic stuff. As Ron said on several occasions: If you didn't enjoy these trails you need to sell your bike.

Thanks to Marvin and all the Family Riders.
