MCI Dual Sport. New date. Now 3/30/14

THE DUAL SPORT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE PENDING RAINSTORM.

Mother nature has not been kind to this event and the weather threw us another curve ball. Details on the the new date will be available shortly.

Scott

Would I be correct in assuming that knobbies of some type would be required to complete the course? Right now I've got the TW152's that came stock on my Glee. Will I need some TKC80's mounted up to do this?

I like the new Date!
Need to clear the schedule.
How close to the event will pre-registration work?

Thanks for the interest and this is a good question we should of addressed up front.

A large portion of the course is routed on sand/dirt based firecuts, plus two large sand pits, one with softer and deeper sand. Knobbies are highly recommended, but are not absolutely necessary. I mentioned in an earlier post that the course avoids all low lying areas so riders will not be running through mud bogs where knobbies are completely necessary.

Perfect, this ride fits my schedule. So it'll be Sandy Lane, Curly Fern, and then this. Three weekends, three rides

The course is beginner friendly, but will be fun for all levels.

And I'll be sweep riding on a 300 2t (or maybe a 500 2t.)
