Its all downhill once you start losing body parts.

what the hell does a gall bladder even do?

I'm currently dealing with a dry socket situation from a wisdom tooth extracted a week ago.. it's brutal. I'd almost prefer invasive surgery to this pain. Well, not really.. Heal up for the Camp n Ride MrT!

A gallbladder stores bile secreted from the liver. When you eat, a hormone prompts the gallbladder to release the bile, which then helps break down the fat content of whatever you ate. So in the future my liver will secrete bile directly into my common bile duct, then into my intestine. There are over 800,000 gallbladder removals done annually in the US and 90% never have any issues afterwards... however, some issues can arise from fatty meals, because there isnt a store of bile present to help with the digestion of fat.. so it goes right through you.. with consequences you can imagine. Most gallbladders are removed due to stones, mine is being removed for polyps that could contain cancer cells. They were discovered because I was having a CTscan for something else.. so lucky me.. if they had been left in place they could have become cancer in the future.. better to have it hacked out than run the risk,,,,since gallbladder cancer is pretty much 100% kaput. There you go..more than you ever wanted to know about gallbladders and my innards.

in military parlance there are repairables (sic) and consumables... repairables are inducted into the repair chain or sent to civilian companies for repair.. consumables are thrown in the trash.. I have seen consumables that cost over $10,000... bam.. right into DRMO (military trash)

I had a co worker once that was "" īn country" in Lebanon in 1956 for a few years. He spoke Turkish and something else. He said that Marine Intelligence had removed his molars and replace them with a partial so he could stay without getting teeth problems. BS, don't really know.

WOW, I'm leaving to do the TAT solo on 27 May. This is certainly a reminder to keep it cool. Glad you were able to walk away.
