I think I got mine at Lowes, along with a 10 or 12 foot long 2x8 that I had them cut in half for me at the store.

A belated photo posting from the June 16th NW RI ride....

I have been away at work a lot lately and have fallen behind with the postings.

Taking a break on the power lines

111,000+ miles!
Check our the odometer on Twilight Error's GS!

Roadhazard's KTM began leaking coolant and it looked like a leaking head gasket, but it was later determined to be the water pump. As usual, mrt10x had all the tools!

After finishing the Border Trail, Rhodehazard split off and headed home with his ailing KTM. Mrt10x, Twilight Error, and I then continued on riding on hitting Willie Woodhead, George Washington Hwy, and Old Log Bridge Road.

I also have a lot of video to sort through and I'll post something one of these days....

They are on their annual two week rideabout.. somewhere up north.. off the grid. This is the ride she wanted the Husky 610 for.. but she ended up taking the DR.

Ahha. She'd mentioned going off the edge for a while, good time of year to do it.

Dunno. Last I heard, the seller was having a shop dig into it.

she told me right before she left that she had called the CA DMV about signing the title back over to the seller, and they said it was easy... and that she had broached that subject with the seller... but that is all I know... I dont think she has a lot of confidence in the bike any longer.

Can't say I blame her...

I do hope at least the purchase price came back to her, it would be a bucketful of suck if she was stuck with a ride that couldn't be trusted (and wasn't at least a BMW)....

Holy shit mrt10x! From the pics that jgormley posted, it looks like there was a girl on a BMW 650 with you guys...all I can say is, that's what you get for going into the woods with another woman

So much for the farewell CNR

*we* can CNR while he CNSNW (camp 'n sit 'n wait) for us to return.

Not much fun, but better than not getting together at all.

That was just for the very first part of the ride.. from Beach Pond Parking to the Green Falls Campground. By the time we got to the North Loop it was just Al, me and SuperCal.

I dont suppose anyone has a picture of me from the day of the crash? With all my gear on? It would be useful for the mandatory investigation to show I was wearing full gear. The government doesnt like it when you break their precious equipment... namely me :)

Puke

There ya go.

Here's the photo of how far away that broken ram mount was. Your bike is standing essentially where you stopped sliding but Calvin's bike is rolled forward at this point. Your bikes are facing the direction of travel while mine is backwards.
