She's a manager there now so I asked if Olgas was in a rivalry with Seven Stars??

Apparently not but that brought up the topic of Seven Stars bakery / ADVrider / my past baking experience / the Rumford Baking Powder location (is there a farmers market there as well?) / and even you in particular.. I don't think you and I have ever met in person but my friend was surprised when I said that I know of you through advrider with the motorcycles, off road riding, etc. Now this may sound bad or maybe she was thinking of someone else but she was surprised because she met the owner(s) some year ago and they were probably in their 70's according to her. Hopefully you are the next generation and I'm not being incredibly insulting!! Or perhaps we were just thinking of different bakeries but Providence isn't that big; especially once you take the bakeries with Italian names out of the mix...
Wow. 70's! That's a new one. We've heard lots of crazy rumors over the years, but they usually have to do with new locations or our $1,000,000 oven.

We started it 13 yrs ago this Jan., which is just so hard to believe. Maybe, your friend met us in the first couple years when we were working 18hr days 7 days/week

Congratulations on the 50 best bakeries award.

That's top 50 in the whole US of A for those who don't follow professional competitive baking!

Still have no clue how I got there, but it must have been Teft Hill Trail I'll be back

I think we followed same GPS trail, ended up in peoples backyards, downed trees in the way... GPS says it's a road!

I however know exactly how to get in that road behind TT, was there 2 weeks ago aaaand dumped the bike in the last turn 2-up (ooops)

Thanks for that. We've gotten so much traction out of that. Here it is.

So, need a reason to ride (or, horror of horrors, drive) into Providence? [If you ride, there's usually free parhkin' down near the new RISD dorm.]

There will be two Waterfire lightings in December (Friday, 12/13 and Saturday, 12/14). Come into town, buy some tax-free art at Craftland, enjoy our newly paved streets, and watch the river burn.

Sorry for the spam, but this could get you some brownie points with the other in your lives. You know how girls love "a night on the town." And who doesn't love to watch stuff burn?!

I was thinking Saturday might be a good day for a Crash-o-Rama. I'm not really picky where, I don't mind travelling to a spot I havent been to before. The weather report doesn't look great, not that it really matters much. If nothing else, I could to trails local to me I suppose.

Another option is doing a Pachaug explorers edition. I've been meaning to check out some trails that branch off the loop. Legal 2 track stuff, not blue blaze. There are a bunch I have in mind. No hero sections, unless that's what the group wants to do.
