KTM 640-E exhaust removal?

Hi guys! How in the hell do you remove the header on a 2004 640-E lc4? I've undone everything, it rattles around loads, but I just can't get the exhaust off!? It seems like I have to actually unbolt the rear shock?

Unbolting the rear shock is the way I've always done it...

what part? silencer? mid-pipe? headers? stock system should not be that hard except the mid-pipe to header connection.

good luck,

There is no mid pipe on the 04 LC4 E... Other than the Y slip on section to one side of the manifold, it is a 1 piece pipe right back to where the exhaust slips over it.... It is near impossible to spin the pipe enough to get it over the starter hump and clear the shock...

Yup, that is my exact problem. I have bought the header pipes in the pictures above (PLEASE TELL ME THEY FIT!!!!) but do you have any idea how to get this 1 piece header out? It looks like I have to remove the rear shock or airbox?
