Hand guard brace for '13 F700/800
Does anyone know if BMW has changed the design on their hand guards from the '12 model to the '13 models?
I want to get some guards for my new F700GS and am trying to figure out if part # 71 60 7 714 661 will fit... (seen here at Max http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=AT2QYMVO6LRBZ) From searching I haven't been able to tell for sure.. I know that the Barkbuster kits are going to be changing because of the way they screw into the bar end weighs... but not sure on the BMW kits since they replace the bar ends.... Thanks! Martin |

Where are you located? I have a spare set from my '10 but maybe someone is close to you to check.

Hand Guards
Im in Phoenix also. Let me know what you find out. Ive been trying to figure it myself with no success. Touratech has got me hostage until next year some time. I called and asked them what the deal was with the photos on there web site... its a staged photo. The hand guards are from last years bike rigged up for the photo shoot.

Will do!
I know for sure Twisted Throttle will have the kits update for the Barkbusters in the coming weeks as I spoke to them Friday. I'll make some calls tomorrow to BMW and the dealership and see what the part numbers are to see what's the deal too.. I'm eager to get off road and finish the protection I know I am going to need for when I dump it in the desert! haha Quote:
