Hello!

Is there anyone out there who made/making his own version of the Nuda X-Cross?



What I can decipher from the mumblings of the journos Touratech just sticked a modified F800GS suspension some 21/18` wheels under it and voila` some of their stuff of the shelf an awesome exhaust and thats it...

I think it would be an awesome platform for an ADV bike, and IMHO Husqvarna would never make it, becuse no one would by a poxy BMW800gs any more.

TT has one, I've seen pictures and videos of it. Google it.

Yes Touratech not ony has one, but raced the modified Nuda they have in the Erzberg Rodeo prologue. After market companied in good graces with the factories get prototypes to have their accesorties ready and Touratech is in the good graces of BMW. Alot of BMW branded stuff for the GS is made by Touratech.

F800GS suspension??? Not likely. The TT Nuda X-cross runs 48mm Cartridge forks, and has a lot more GC and suspension travel than an F8. I don't speak German, so the interview with the TT team on the Nuda Thread couldn't enlighten me, but TT wasn't going to embarass themselves on one of the most important Enduros in the EU. Do some more research. TT will do interviews with the press in GB, so I'd start there. And I'd expect to spend about $2k USD at a minimum for the suspension, let alone all of the other "stuff" (engine, exhaust, brakes, wheels, etc.).

Nuda 12-14K
Nuda r 14-16K don`t understand why, but not much of a price difference for a higher spec bike
BMW F800 GS north of 17-18K

and probably u would save a bundle on spares service etc.

I`ll wait for early next year maybe Husqvarna`ll say something about it.

And until then maybe I hunt some TT insiders here on ADV or just send them a mail and ask if they`ll be selling a kit

BTW what I`ve found so far about suspension:


"Touratech’s Lars Würdemann headed up the conversion, fitting the usual engine, hand and radiator guards, serrated off-road footpegs and Pirelli-shod 21/18-inch wire-spoke wheels. The suspension was modified, as well. Originally developed for the BMW F800GS, the long-travel fork and shock were built by Tractive in Europe. so this is probably what they`re burbling about so its definitely NOT a BMW derived suspension so no cheap option
