PHX - Mile Marker Ride Saturday Feb 16th

Meet at MM 11.5 at 8:00 - RTR @ 8:30. I'll be parking just north of the pit toilets.

MM 11.5 is also known at the Boulders OHV area and is located west of I-17 on Carefree Hwy at mile marker 11.5.

Lot's of single track, rocks, hills. Slow pace lots of stops. Plenty of time factored in to take pictures of you crashing.

Is this ride good for a single track newbie?? NO

Is this ride good for someone who has ridden single track in the past and is good at picking up his/her bike on your own and pushing it up hills?? YES

Bring cash for Wild Horse Saloon afterwards.

I assume KLR's, DR's and 650+ bikes are ALL welcome?

Man, that is cold........"plenty of time factored in to watch us crash" I know you have seen me crash many of times. And the mile markers also make me up-chuck.........

Yet another one of these I'm going to miss! I'm heading south somewhere on the big bike Saturday.

Cyberdos, you should totally come out for the ride!! It will be fun at a relaxed pace.

I'm thinking about doing a newbie single track friendly ride at Wildcat next Saturday. Less rocks and nasty hills at Wildcat.

Hello All, I just got a new ride (300 xcw) been riding a WR426 before that. Looking forward to the big 2-stroke. Would love to join you guys on this boulders ride, but I probably should get a skid plate before doing any really rocky riding. I would be interested in the Wildcat ride next Sat. Probably a little nicer way to break the bike in for its first ride. let me know if its a go and its ok for me to tag along!

thanks,
Jason
