Haven't been there in 12 years. Sure it's still there, though. Make sure to stop in at Salvation Mountain for max crazies.

I fixed his electrical problem for him.

Battery cables are hard.

So I finally made the journey from San Diego to Slab City. Took Interstate 8 to Sunrise highway, to route 78. The snow caught me off guard on Sunrise highway while the temperatures dropped to below 36 degrees but I made it. Hung out for an hour or so. Interesting place. I bet it gets wild after hours. I rode around the various camps that were set up, parked my bike and sat and chilled. A bud and I are heading out the the desert in 2 weeks for the weekend so I plan on revisiting.
