Lets going to Baja this spring!!

Hey guys. I'm gonna ride Baja this April with Dave at http://www.griptwister.com/ .
This is a fully supported, intermediate 6 day 1200 mile trip that included all fuel, meals, accomodations and transportation of your bike and gear (PNW I-5 corridor). So I'm just here to see if anyone else planning to going on this epic adventure with us?

Oh ya, and for the ones that like pictures, this is a bit of what we'll run across...

Lets stop and say hi to Coco

The website says 2449 with bike and gear transport from western WA, 2249 without.

My father in law and i did the tour with Griptwister, Dave puts on a well rounded ride and it was a blast! Did the whole 900+ miles and loved it. The riding and scenery and people are amazing.

Sorry I messed up on the title. Anyway, it's been cold and rainy here and I can't stop thinking about Baja so I just wanted to dig this thread up and see if anyone else is interested in going. I know there's 3 spots left for anyone ready for a true adventure. It's an unforgettable ride with unparalleled hospitality at each small town we dine in, ride through, or kick our boots off and sleep in. Anyone else in?

I would love to! .... but, due to my financial situation right now, it will have to wait another year at least

Maybe I could organize a ride to spectate in the B1K in November?

Anyway, don't let me not going ruin your fun

I've been to Baja once. Now I have the bug! Need to return, someday...

If i can procure a bike and the funds in time I will be in. It's been way too long since i had a good adventure.

If I win,, I'll join you,,otherwise,,no money,,no ride to Baja.

Will have to see where I'm at in April. May be back from baja sur by then. Going down next week. Looks like this loop doesnt go much farther south than Catavina. There are some real tough rides west and east of there, even when its not hot!

FYI: insurance is now required for motor vehicles in baja norte. Main issue on the paved roads are ABC buses in your lane on RH sweepers, watch out for that.

Are you gonna take 950A? If so, ride well, there are some real tough sections out there on the Pacific coast for big bikes! I only ride my thumper out there.

Yes, Catavina, my skid plate and body got a good workout riding into Catavina the first time I was there.(Got a Peso Andy is too funny!!) Last year I got insurance from Baja Bound for the first time. It's a good idea I think even though we try as hard as posible to stay off the paved roads. I'll definatley be on the 950A. It's so much fun to ride when It's not loaded up with camping gear and you have a chase truck that you can rely on.
