Yea, I know. :) , but we have met before so i know what I'm saying, For the most part. even though I live in the state to your north, I'm considered a southerner due to being south of Castle Rock. This means, unfortunately for you'all, that I'm really one of you. This means ill let any of you tow me out to civilization when I end up on RF top 5 screw ups video. This after at least 10 minutes of verbal and emotional abuse of course. I have a fake hip for the love of God. It's my only excuse.

Don't worry, I won't be "trollin". I'm thinking this vid will be more about the scenery of CL and the group ride more than the typical close in action I usally post up. But...I'm not above taking advantage of a good 'photo op" if it presents itself.

I'm really getting excited about this ride for some reason, and I wouldn't mind one way or the other to be in one of your screwup videos.
One the one hand a person gets to be famous, or is that infamous, I always forget, and the other side of the coin is the embarrassment. Since I'm getting older I don't get embarrassed much, a little infamy might not be so terrible. Falling here and there hopefully keeps the big crashes to a minimum. I usually tend to come to a stop and for some reason tip over in a parking situation lately.
Either way I can't wait to go ride the area.
What's everybody doing as far as tubes/ mousses.
I think a UHD tube with slime might be the ticket for out there.
I really don't want to burn a mousse and have to haul it out a hundred miles.
I'm gonna go for a MotoZ desert rear and a Michelin Desert front for tires.
Those MotoZ rears last forever and seem to stick pretty good.
The fronts I really don't care much for, they seem to skate on the loose stuff instead of cut through to the hard pack underneath.

Am running Maxxis Desert IT tires for our Baja adventure starting next Friday, with HD tubes, and Quad Boss sealant....

For the Moab gig, Cheng Shin light duty tubes with street slicks.....

Dez ITs also, nothing special for tubes, I run about 22psi to avoid pinch flats.

I'm pretty excited about this ride also, 450miles of great scenery, good group of friends to ride with, pretty tough to beat that.

I was actually highlighting the "stylish" getoff and ultra quick recovery by that XR650R rider. Did you see how fast he got back up? Very impressive

They are a hard pack rocky desert terrain tire. They wear better IMO than the Maxxis Desert IT (at least the rear does). They ride/grip good too.
