Seriously good ride you put together is spite of the flat.

Not only does it look good, it has an awesome feel. Even in my meaty paws it has a nice balance and sits in the hand near perfect. Now I'm spoilt.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I have put a fair bit of effort this last year or so in upping my game, I'm glad to see people enjoy my work.

Shooting from the hip here, but I'm guessing your possibly a rein-actor and attend some of the Renaissance festival circuits. If not, you should be. Weekend Wenching is good sport you know.

I can't stand Red Fair. Too much costume, not enough history. That's where my passion really is, deep deeeeeeeep research on how our ancestors did their thing, and doing it their way to better understand how we got to where we are today. The goons making mild steel "throwing knives" to an unwitting crowd just piss me off, everything's over-priced, quality isn't evident in most work, and it's just a bunch of drunk geeks playing dress-up. I got enough of that at BYOB.

I wasn't dressed up at BYOB, as for the drunk part........

I try to stay away from folks with nice edged weapons for sale when I have money.
My cash will evaporate faster than if I went to a strip bar after doing a few tequila shots

I know me, I like knives and firearms. And whatever amount I have is never enough.

We go to them from time to time when they roll in locally.

I do see some of the dilution you mention, but when folks like yourself contribute, it raises the quality significantly.

I noticed that a lot of it is the theatre crowd practicing their craft. But there are some specialist like yourself that keep it real.

When I go, I would like to see more folks like you.
