Who all is doing the whole tour from Asheville to Yocum's?
I'm going to the RA rally and will hopefully ride along for Mon. & Tues. then head for home and back to work.

We are.

Plan to head to the Biltmore on Thursday and then tag along with Weave and company on the way up to Yokum's.

Oh Yeah.
When are you getting there? I'm wanting to go ride the Dragon, I haven't been there for several years and never on the GS. So I want to go get a sticker and T shirt. So I'm thinking of going down there Wednesday and camping there then ride up to Black Bear Thursday. Or just go straight to RDV on Wed. then go do the Dragon on the way home from Asheville and the AAA tour.

Hey Roy, an old friend of yours hitched a ride with me coming back from Texas. He is feeling a little deflated at the moment but I swear he perked up when he heard you were coming South.

He is not my friend, (especially if he is named Hodag)he stowed away in my duffel bag at Pansy's.
He is just a big prick anyway.

He's a well traveled prick at this point. Gotta find him a new designated driver soon.

Ah...... found it.

We plan on camping for BYOB when we arrive, is the camping so crowded we need to make reservations, and/or could we maybe even get a cabin spot last minute or does all that have to be set up ahead of time?
I ask in case it is raining like the debbil, cabin spots can be a bit nicer, but not necessarily needed.

Also, since I am use to the BMWMOA rallies, where is the shower trailer, how many hundreds of vendors will be there, and in what air conditioned buildings, and where will the espresso and latte machines be? Don't tell me there is none of that stuff there and I will have to entertain myself by riding on nice roads and hanging around campfires all weekend with nice folks, that sounds hellish.

This information will all be available at the Starbucks as you enter the gate to the campground.

Actually, and I am sort of afraid to bring this up for fear of reprisal after 19 BMW MOA National rallies, and countless local ones, and major fear of losing my standing in the BMW riding community, but I have never been in a Starbucks, or ever knowingly even near one, in my entire 51 years on this planet.
I don't drink coffee.

If you were in western Washington state, Starbucks is the equivalent of 10 hour old gas station coffee.
They do sell real coffee there, but you have to ask for it.

This is where I got coffee when I was there

I look forward to a cup of your coffee this afternoon. It's only 43 degrees right now.
