Anyone ridden Jefferson Summit Road?

Has anyone ever ridden Jefferson Summit Road from Belmont to Round Mountain?

According to the NFS Motor Vehicle Use Map, it is open to motorized vehicles. When I look at the area around the old Jefferson Mine and Townsite, it does not appear to go thru. All the hiking reports for Jefferson Summit I have found online have them getting to the trailhead from the Belmont side. I contacted Nye county but was unable to talk to anyone who knew if it is passable or not.

Thanks!

Yes it's open and a great ride, I ride it several times each year.

Unfortunately the Belmont Inn is closed and for sale.
