Crossing at Tecate border. Need a place to leave a truck & trailer

As described in the title. We are going to trailer south on December 26th and plan to cross at the Tecate border for Baja. I would like to have a spot to leave our Suburban and Kendon motorcycle trailer for 10 days or so until we return. We would most likely arrive to the drop location the morning of the 27th. Much appreciated if someone has a spot.

I can be reached via PM or terry(at)adventuretrio.com

Thanks,

Terry

There are a few places right at the border for $5/day (maybe more with the trailer) if you don't find anything else.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping for a place that we didn't have to worry if our ride would be there when we returned. I'll check it out...

There is one parking lot that has a fence, I have never checked the pricing there but it might be more.

FWIW... it is right behind the BP border crossing and I have never had anything messed with while parked.

Right side of the road, just before the border. $5 per day, 24 hour security.

Rancho Ojai, just over the border. Very secure professional outfit.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Our departure is put off until the 31st due to some work commitments.

Ideally on the US side. Ideally someone who has a place with some extra room for a few days in Socal within a reasonable distance from the border. We almost never trailer but time constrains, weather, and traveling with an 11 year old dictate otherwise.

Thanks,

-Terry

Well, if you're unable to find to find any place closer to Tecate, you are welcome to store your rig at my place (El Centro, 1 1/2 hrs. East of Tecate).
