It looks like that is a much slower setup. Your wife is way ahead of you!

I've got a bunch of 650/800 sprockets lightly used in case you want to try the 16T up front. Cost would be two winning coffee tabs and a donut.

We were out all day today. 13.5 C on the dash and waving to all the other bikers. It was her first ride since the accident and I couldn't get her to head home.

Awesome.

Glad you like it ...

I agree that 41 vs. 42 on the rear is almost imperceptible ...
Interesting that the F700GS has the 42/17...
I'm guessing the reason was that (like you said) it's not a noticeable difference, and it cut the number of inventoried units ...

I have a 16T front sprocket at the ready in case I have to get serious,
but the 17/41 works well generally.

Awesome.
I gave her a head start.

Glad to hear you also had a good start on the season. I took Stephanie's DR650 out for a spin just to get fresh gas into it. So all four of our bikes have been out already this year.

Thanks for the sprocket offer but I really do plan to leave that one on there. With the previous sprocket being loose on the splines when I took it off, and how hard it was to put this new one on, I don't plan to be switching unless necessary.
