This rain we've been having over the last two days is really putting me in the mood for the Karuah rally.
Feels just like recent years at Frying Pan Creek.... If only I had some leeches!

I'll be there on the Friday afternoon.

Luckily he's above the high tide mark but can't get to his workshop in Alstonville

Just wouldn't be the KRR without 300mm of rain the week before hey.
Just a reminder folks, this event is on rain hail or shine. A map for the altenative route to avoid the river crossing should it become too deep is available on bmwtcnsw.org website and will be on the wall of the Bank hotel, Dungog.
Should extreme circumstances cause Forests NSW to close the area the rally will be held at Dungog showground.

Dont mind the rain or the shine. But the six inches of hail on the top of the Oxley Hway on the way home last year was down right scarey.

Takes me back.

The guy on the left just found a leach.

I went there with a new sleeping bag once. A leach got on my toe before sleepy bye byes in the morning the bottom half of my new bag was a solid bloody scab. Seen em on peoples tounges too. Marching slowly but steadly in search of blood. Dropping out of trees down shirt fronts. Down cleavages, into undies.

My last ride started badly,steadily got worse,until it ended in disaster, but apart from that it was excellent!
