I went the year before last with the intention of donating money. I followed fotobo there. When we got there i asked him "who do i give the money to". "I'll point her out when i see her" he said. I ate a couple of pieces of chicken, got a drink, visited with a bunch of guys and after we had left I realized that i never gave them the money. I kinda felt like a shithead. I need to go this year.

That's sort of a personal thing. They put out a donation jar and people that brought cash or check just dropped it in there without any hub-bub.

What you're planning is respectable. In the past, my wife and I have purchased about $50 in supplies per year and gathered some cash donations from friends and family. Just donate within your means. No big deal.

We buy a few things (g/f likes shopping for the horses) and put a few bucks in the jar.

We'll go if it's dry and not too far below freezing (we're on streetbikes.)

I'll go ahead and post it on TSR.

Per our discussion last night, I think FatBob and _cy_ are accompanying me on Monday afternoon to meet some media at AHR. Anyone that wants to join us is welcome. We'll be heading there by way of BA and Coweta (aka the south route).

I am picking up my Horse supplies at Farmers Feed in Sapulpa. In addition to helping me find and pick out supplies, they also make a contribution of wormers and other stuff that I take on their behalf to the AHR. If you are spending money on supplies it might be good to support a local business who has made contribution to the event for the past 3 years.
