I know.. I know.. Actually, I sold my Triumph last week, and I'm thinking about getting rid of the R65 and the KLR.

Pre-Registration filled out and mailed, as of 3 minutes ago.. I put the Guzzi down as what I'll ride.. Maybe I'll ride the R80 to the Guzzi rally at the same location, later in the summer..

Now to fill out the pre-registration for the Madison Club Rally, 2 weeks earlier..

I'm glad to see the BMWMOCM is dragging themselves into the 21st century with their high tech "mail in piece of paper and paper check" approach to registration. Not for them the ridiculous idea of online registration and payment!

It will be the Helix, and well you know it.

Naw.. More than likely riding the Guzzi.. I rode the GS to the MN rally last year and it's overkill.. This year I'll be riding more on naked bikes.. R80 and the Guzzi are basically the same bike.. Nothing more than bags.. The Helix is actually very warm to ride, because of the great job the fairing does..

But the issue with the Helix is that while fine to ride by myself, if I'm riding with others on normal bikes, in curvy roads, I'm the slowpoke because of the lack of power.. Easier to just ride something that can get out of it's own way..

We lose money by taking money online. Really don't want to raise the registration fee.
Besides, how many regional rallies have demo rides?
