I'm working Friday, but I do knock off at 3.00. Not far to Lanyon for resupplies! When the rally last last out that way ( 1986 was a bit further, closest was probably Wanniassa tavern or Mawson!!!)

I've prodded ADpete about this one, he is currently attempting to amass frequent family miles so he can attend. Woose.

Is there a creek onsite? We could take turns demonstrating how well Harleys do the dog paddle......ADPete will dry it out after each test ride I'm sure.

It's a straight ride from my place, the "adventure" component consists of dodging the local car "drivers" (I use the term driver very loosely when applied to the locals).

You and Fati fancy a decent coffee on the way?

More info from the organisers.

Suggest you pre-pay and save a few dollars. We had to put entry up this
year because we now have to pay camping fees to the site managers.
Unfortunately there isn't a swimming hole. There is a shallow creek to
paddle in. It was flowing when we inspected the site last Tuesday, so
hopefully it won't have dried up by the time the rally rolls round. Fingers
crossed! ;-)

Ya pays ya money & ya takes ya chances
looks like it's gunna be a 'civilised' rally situation, complete with costs of having a good time,
Cheers

Caloola Farm Camping Site Access

Hi,

Happy New Year, All.

Having not been to this camping site before, can someone please advise if it is vehicle access to the camping ground ...or separate vehicle park and lug the gear in ? I prefer the easy option of course.

I hope you mean vehicle as in Motorcycle I would reckon bikes can go in as it is a Motorcycle rally... if they can't I'm going home and to the pub.

Cheers
