Bribri Costa Rica Border Crossing?
Anyone recently used the Bribri Costa Rica border crossing into Panama? Good route in Panama along the Caribbean? We need to meet some friends in David, early Jan, then Carti to meet the a sail boat on the 14th, to Columbia.

I don't believe there is a crossing at Bribri, the nearby one is at Sixaola. This used to be over a rotting, old bridge, but a new bridge recently opened. A pretty laid back crossing.

Sixaola Costa Rica Crossing
Thanks!!! I will try and see in there is anymore info on this crossing. It looks like a great place to cross instead of Paso Canoa which was a pain in the ass to cross a couple years ago. Getting pumped to take off!!!

A slow but hassle free border crossing. Good luck.

The fastest, nost laid back, most scenic crossing is Rio Sereno. I live nearby, and invite you for lunch or a place to spend the night.

I second Chiriqui Charlie's opinion, just don't try it on a Saturday or Sunday, their closed. That said, I've only done it leaving Costa Rica to Panama. Not sure about the return trip.

Rio Soreno was probably the most laid back and easiest border crossing I did in all of LA. And they didn't notice I had a speeding ticket on the back of my import paperwork which made it even better.
