Hopefully we will have some solid times and directions for this ride soon!

Trying to keep in mind fuel ranges, food stops, group moving average speed, and watching the weather... (and calculating for not having the KW tool truck and coffee bar riding along behind us...)

They have ethanol free gas and hot breakfast available, so arrive early if you wish to partake of theae offerings.

Please be prepared for an all day ride in cold, wet, rainy, muddy conditions. We will be riding a mix of paved, gravel, forest service, and other dual-sport roads. Please have cash available in case a gas stop does not take plastic.

Lunch ia planned for the same Mexican place in Meridian we stopped at last year. Some route changes have been made since last year, so there will be some new roads and some from last year.

More information to come or post up questions if you have them...
Edited the first post so I thought I'd quote it at the end of the thread, too....

Quick question concerning this NYDay Ride

As I mentioned before I've recently purchased a tw200. I would like to participate in the ride. However, I only have a 1.7 gal gas tank. LDmccain has a gallon rotopak gas can that he is bringing so fuel shouldn't be an issue. The question is, since I can only do about 50-55mph is this going to slow everyone down too much? I do not want to be that one guy who ruins the day for everyone else. I will sit this one out if it is going to be a problem. I will be getting a bigger aftermarket gas tank in the near future, but I'll never be able to do anything about my slow speed :-). Just let me know if my not keeping up with the big dawgs is going to be a problem.

Thanks,
Lance

Just talked to BW and he reminded me this section will be in play this year:

I suspect it will look much like it did two years ago. As such, I'll be on the DRZ.
