Most of my favourites involve a photo of me somewhere in the mountains...mainly because I was by myself up there

but some good ones came out of Moab also

Me on the highest motorized vehicle pass in Colorado

Me on the "Steps" of Black Bear Pass overlooking Telluride Colorado

Imagining what it would have been like back in the old Mining days

2whlrider wondering...should I...well maybe not

Beer and fresh chocolate chip cookies after a hard day of Moab riding...what could be better

Almost 7000km this summer, pretty good considering I didn't commute (unemployed) and took care of 3 kids at home. Long weekend trips and daytrips put the miles on.

Crown land camping

Nopoming Park fishing daytrip

Minnesota camping

Daughter's first ride

A good year and I look forward to commuting in 2013

and hopefully some kind of fly+ride or week-long 40th birthday trip next summer.

Some glimpses of my season..

I did the FAST Race School at Shannonville

Spent a weekend with a bunch of buddies in SE Ohio

Rode up to Thunder Bay Canada Day Weekend, just cuz

Did a Lee Parks Total Control course in Mississauga

Rode down to North Carolina in Sept.

August I picked up a CRF250L (the CBR is STILL for sale!)

Five week trip to the west coast Yes I cheated I took one of these

But I also took my FJR a rode on one of these with my friends

But then I also took my WR .. it worked good at Waterton AB

Then off to Europe

They say there's more than corn in Indiana but I'm sure I seen more corn than anything else.

With a little help form Google Earth I did find quite a few old bridges,

a few old trains,

and of course some neat old buildings...

Also rode my first gravel road after not having a bike for over ( 30 ) years. Yeehaw!..

I had to hike a few miles for this shot but it's the closes I came to seeing anything resembling a canyon.
