Stranded. Quick connect oring.
Bike 1150gsa.
Metal bmw quickconnect couplings. Hamfisted as i am i managed to pinch and fekkup the oring on the male quickconnect piece. Nearest dealer 800 km away. Bmw partnumber : drwg number 16_0482 item:3 *number:13 53 7 700 Does anyone know the size of the oring? Looks to be 8x1.5mm but not sure (and yes i'll stock up on those next time im at the dealers ) Thanks in advance. |

I checked a few forums and that appears to be the correct size. You could replace the disconnect with a straight fuel line if you had to.

Remember that you are looking for Viton....not rubber. The rubber may get you further down the road a ways but the gas will degrade the rubber.
