Craigs Hut Lake Cobbler Dargo.
Went on a ride last week solo. Went from Drouin up the loch valley to the triangle then on to Woods Point Jammo. Left on the Houqua river Rd to sheepyard flat, bluff link sixteen mile jeep track and up to bindaree. I then took the shortcut up the monument track to Craigs hut. On the steepest rockiest part of this track I had to pass a dozen college girls on a hike talk
about distraction. It was then on to lake cobbler via speculation, little cobbler and cobbler lake track. This is nice allthough remote country. From lake cobbler I rode up Abbeyard and allong the buffalo river to schultz track which was rough and rocky but doable slow. Then it was mount selwin and selwin creek tracks to twins track (very scenic). Being late in the day by then I rode down to Dargo via the Dargo high plains road and camped there for the night. Next day slabbed it home 750ks excellent ride. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Top work. That area has been an annual trip for me by one means or another (4WD, trail bike or mountain bike) in summer for about a decade now. And when it's covered in snow, head for the Flinders.
