F700 Front end rattle

Hi Folks,

I picked up an F700GS a week ago and have been very happy with it so far. Just one niggly issue is when I hit a bump on the road there is a rattle coming from the front end. The rattle reduces when taking up the play in the brake disk by applying the front brake. I have noticed quite a bit of play in the front disk that my old bike didn't have so imagine that they are designed to float? does this sound normal or should I take it back to the dealer.

Thanks

Yes the rotars do float.

But since its a week old, take it back and have them look at it,they owe you that at least.

That's what floating discs do. Just go to the showroom and grab a bunchof 700/800 rotors. Normal.
