R1200RT ver R1200RT-P
I always hate to ask this kind of question because it opens you up to so much ridicule that it's almost not worth it.
But here it goes ![]() Beside the obvious is there any difference between the RT and its cousin the RT-P? Because beside the bags, crash guards, single seat, and radio box I just don't see much that difference. Yah I know no rear pegs ![]() I thought I read somewhere that the -P had a different torque curve making it easier to handle at slow speed?

differences I know...
1. 2 Batteries to handle extra lights, radios, etc.
2. Extra Oil Cooling fan for more slow speed Might get more/better answers posting same question here: http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthread...oard=22&page=1 LaurelPerryOnLand screwed with this post 12-09-2012 at 03:31 PM |

Traffic parts like the Red Sea when you're on the -P.

I think the P has a slightly different first gear to handle low speeds better. The P also has all the additional wiring for lights and sirens, and depending on spec, lacks stuff like ESA and other fruit...
