I heard that if they put a fuckin great big tax on AIR it can triple your electricity bill, just like that.

I use car air, cheaper and does the same job. Just be sure to check the AP/SG rating to make sure it's the same grade.

Some people are telling me that I don't have to use imperial air, and that you can get metric air - is this true? Apparently the metric stuff is cheaper?

It would be nice to shed some imperial pounds - even at the expense of some metric kilos!

Best to fill with smoke, then you can fix your electrical problems as well!

So if hot air rises does that mean i travel lighter and should avoid cold miserable places like Melbin/Canbra/Shitney

I had the tires changed on my van a few years ago, asked the tire jockey, who really didn't want to be working that day, "Mate can you put old style psi in this time, since I've been using kPa I just haven't had the same mileage."

The look of 'WTF is this guy for real' was priceless. ---- probably why he wasn't happy, dealing with smart arses all day....

Well beer does have gas in it so that must count

Airless tyres will be common within 10 years, already out there for a wide range of vehicles, including push bikes, motorbikes will happen

Word of warning - used air that had been in the compressor a while and the DR ran like shit. I'm sure it didn't go off in the old days.

Actually it would be the opposite... the colder places mean the hot air in the tyres will work better! So by only riding in Qld, you're actually missing out on the real performance of your bike!
