gearhead cylinder index
Maybe your worth to the gearhead world can be judged by the # of cylinders you own/support. start counting, anything internal combustion, running or not spare engines , weed eaters etc. they all count.

Let's see...
4 in my little truck 4 in each of my GL1000s 6 in the GL1500 2 in the CX650 Another 10 for spare engines. Oh, and one each for the lawnmower and trimmer. So, 32 total.

You're missing a vital part of the equation. Your CI is the number of cylinders you own divided by your age. Any gearhead worth his salt has a CI of at least .5 - The idea is that you continue to acquire engines.
I'm 34 and am at a CI of 1.06 I've got my list posted on another site. Let me dig it up. |

Seems I misremembered. My CI was 1.18 when I was 33. Here's the post I made on it:

I do like the part about putting your age in the equation. I had never seen that before.
I`m 54 which would make my CI = 2.74 |

Can I count the 400 pieces of equipment that I am responsible for at work? That would push my CI very high!!
