I need a resto shop for a 69 cl 350

I would like to have my 69 CL350 restored to a top level. What is the general consensus on a restoration shop? If its not near me I'll ship...thanks in advance

You need to define resto. Are you talking a 100 pt concours job, a nice show and ride bike, or just a good runner?

100pt means every single nut and bolt is proper, all paint and decals etc. are all NOS, everything has to be perfect. Majorly big bucks. Big step down to just making it a nice show and ride bike if it's already really straight and all original, or a good runner if it has a few aftermarket parts or mods to it.

Honestly, on these old bikes, especially something like a 69CL, even if you got it for free you will likely have more money in it that it's worth. Unless it's already almost perfect. Doesn't take long to really rack up the bucks.

Post some pics. I know i've done a lot of bikes (see sig line for list of currently owned rides) and my rule of thumb is always to avoid spending more than they are worth. That usually means getting a really straight original bike to begin with then keeping the patina with it and not go overboard having PERFECT paint and chrome, that can really drive the price crazy high. My bikes routinley bring home trophies from shows and all are perfect runners.
