no thanks on the sand.......I think Oil Well Road on the blacktop will be a better choice. I verified with Collier County Sheriffs office that the construction on 858/Oil Well Road between 29 and Everglades BLVD is complete. So that looks like a winner.

Somebody please jump in if you have a better idea!! Sanjoh maybe?

I will post pics from Janes and Stewart out in the squares after this Saturday.

FYI... the AYCE seafood buffet is $38.99 per person and it's available Thursday, Friday, & Saturday after 4PM.

If we start at Clewiston @ 10am, we should be able to get to EC (about 100 miles away) by 4PM.

So if google maps satellite shot is right then either 846 or 858 from Immokalee to Everglades Blvd will be a good ride.

There is a Marathon Gas Station on 27/80 at the east end of Clewiston, corner of 27 and Old Rt 80. Good place to fuel and it has a big parking lot. Side road out of there goes right to 835. Maybe meet there by 0930 and roll outta there by 1000 Saturday the 26th?
Yeah, that might be it..it was "Oil I'm gonna bust my ass then Hardiman is going to ride over me and call me a pussy road" or something like that....JayDee did the route...maybe he remembers...

For the adventurous types, we can hit Oil Can Grade Rd on our way to the restaurant.

In the 1.0 version of this ride, we arrived at Casa Sanjoh around 8 or 9 pm.

We hit loop road at sunset on our way there.

I think it is oil well grade and IIIRC it was a diagonal route.
I was doing fine on the bandit last time; I only had stopped on my POS $1,100 street bike to put on the rain suit when the pussys on their $15,000 adventure bikes caught up and whined about it sand being too deep.WAHHH!.Shit my low pipes weren't even dragging yet.
This time I do the bypass on the ZG with the girls.

Little gravel/dirt on Stewart and Janes, but nothing special.
