Sidi Canyon Sizing - Help
Gonna splurge on a pair or Sidi's. it's long overdue. I just don't know what size to get...and no one locally has any I can try on. I have a pair of their cycling shoes but have no idea if that sizing carries over to their motorcycle boots. Anyone willing to lend their experience with Sidi sizing? Also, I live in NM where it gets bloody hot...But I want a boot that can handle all temps fairly well. Any recs besides the canyon? Thanks!!

I wear a size 10 in casual or sports shoes.
All my Sidi boots (four pair) fit me perfectly, and each is a size 44, which translates to a U.S. 10. So, from my experience, their MC boot sizing is spot-on.

They run a tiny bit small
Go a half size bigger than your cross trainers or tennis shoes.

I'm a 9 3/4...meaning that depending on the maker of the shoe, I sometimes buy a 9 1/2 and sometimes a 10. I have the Sidi Canyon boots, size 43, and they are perfect for me.

Consider buying from a internet site that offers free exchange. I find that Sidi's run a half size big.

If you like Sidi's, the Clever Air might be a good choice. It's fully vented for the hot weather. And one of our guys down here has a pair of Sidi's bicycle shoes and MX boots and he wears the same size in both.

I have had two pair of Sidi boots and find them to run pretty spot on size-wise. I wear a 13 in most "normal" shoes that i have and I usually go with a EU48 which translates to a 12.5 or 13 US depending on the brand. The Sidi ST Airs that i had before in size 48 fit but they were a little snug. The Adventure Gore-Tex boots I now have in size 48 are perfect thanks to the larger toe box.

i've got 3 pair of Sidi cycling shoes in different sizes; old Dominator 2s that work perfect without socks in 45.5, Dominator 5s in 46, and Carbon Titanium road shoes in a 46.5.
i found that i needed the Crossfire 2s to be larger than all of those and didn't fit right in anything smaller than a 47. bottom line; if you don't have the chance to try them on in person, be prepared to return/exchange them, or order a couple of pair and return what doesn't work.

I wear a size 10.5-11 US shoe, depending upon the manufacturer. My old Alpinestars SMX-5s were size 45. I ordered the size 45 Sidi Adventures and they fit perfectly. In my very limited experience (of one pair of boots
), the Sidi fit very true to size for me.

I wear size 10 for the most part. Have a pair of size 43 Canyons. They fit a tad snug with heavy thickness socks I like to use. I would go to size 44 next time.
