St. Croix, Indiana (Perry County) is in the Central time but from what I understand the route heads southeast to Mauckport before heading to the Mammoth Cave area for the night and then returning the next day. The route will likely dance between the two different time zones.

Given the fact the start is in the Central time zone what time does the ride start? Will it be 11 AM EASTERN or 11 AM CENTRAL time zone?

Hey, somebody had to ask...

This thing was supposed to be organized??? That's a good one!!

I vote we roll on eastern time. 11 or 10?....dunno, might take some a bit to arrive.

Detail, details....I'll cipher those numbers tonight.

Let talk about food!

Went scouting today and ate at this place about 20-25 minutes east of the cabins in Uno, KY. Great food, but they close at 7 (central) Saturday. They were busy too, I figure you could sit 18 inside.

A quick preliminary calculation looks like;

Saturday total - 212 miles (IN 64, KY 148)

Sunday total - 169 miles (KY 137, IN 32)

Camp

Depending on the weather, I am in for the ride over from st. Croix. Probably won't spend the night, but I can get on the interstate and be home in 1.5 hours. I was thinking, if any of you northern guys want to come down and camp on friday night, I have 10 acres you guys can set up a tent on. I live 10 southwest of scottsburg, 2 miles from hwy160. You can take why 160 to Salem, take 135 down to corydon, then take in64 (not I-64) over to the st. Croix area. I have some flat land, hilly land, and a concrete pad, and if it rains, a couple of barns to sleep in.
