I finally got a real dual sport! DRZ400. Love it.

Sent from my fat thumbs on a small touch screen.

I found an old stock car racing suit at Goodwill; it turned out to be an great Halloween costume.

I thought about wearing it on the GR, but that would look dumb. It occurred to me that a regular suit would be perfect so I put on my chest protector and went back to Goodwill to find a shirt and suit that would fit over it. I'm sure people thought I was nuts, but it was worth it.

The only bad part was the pants don't fit over the boots, which doesn't look right. Luckily there's a new company called Dubinky that makes black over-the-boot riding pants. They look killer with my suit. I've started wearing the suit on the trails also. The other riders find it entertaining.

Somebody in Hollywood must have liked the idea, because the opening scene of the new 007 movie features a bike chase with dudes wearing suits.

Here's someone else that liked the idea:

Of course, I try to follow the rules... Been following your build threads too!

Haven't made much progress since I bought it. Work has just been too hectic. Hope to remedy that situation starting this weekend!

I had a motorcycle stolen...

And a hip replaced

But not in that order.

But I also had some great rides and trips over the Continental Divide many times, and Steamboat and WestFest and RMAR and Californa/Hurricane/Ophir/ Telluride and many other great destinations.
