Longest Day 2012 - 2 days there 2 back from sydney/wollongong

anyone out there keen to do a 2 day ride out to the corner to coincide with the longest day?

I live in wollongong and was thinking of starting in sydney and finishign in wollongong or vice versa.

theres alot of great riding between here and the corner so 2 days definitely wont be boring

I ride a DR650 and you will need to be able to bring a bit of gear.

We would have to work out the route for fuel stops etc.

would leave 20th dec get back 23rd

so no one is keen??

thinking of heading out through wisemans ferry (north westen sydney) and up through the bush to west of newcastle (jerrys plains) then navigate dirt roads through a couple of towns (to stay the night) and more dirt roads to the corner.

then head back through dirt roads to oberon then jenolan caves and dirt roads down to wombeyan caves and ending up at mossvale.

then home to wollongong for me or sydney or elsewhere for others.

2 days there. probably aim for a short second day on the way back incase we're running late

Just back frm CC 4 weeks ago with my son. ( Bris, Melb. CC , Bris.) see.... XR & KLR go walk about. & did a quicky to the Gong last Christmas.. The KLR needs a break .Actually I do. . so sorry Sean. I'm out.
